Life May Slow Down, but, It Never Stops

I'm sick. I hate it. My head feels like a balloon 85% of the time. Regardless of the wonderful hours I get to spend on the couch with a good movie; there are still babies to be taken care of, formula to be bought and dinner to make.

Didn't get to my workout tape today, will do when I feel a bit better. I'm going to try to put my all into it and not feel silly (I mean really, outside of God, whose really watching me and why should I care?).

I have had such a string of bad luck lately. I'm not going to go into details because that would only make me re-live the frustrating and sad moments. But, I'm very glad, throughout it all, I have a hubby who is there for me, loves me and still thinks I'm the greatest person alive.

As long as my life with him never stops, I'll gladly take the sick days.

First Post and New Project

By new project, I mean, besides starting this blog. I would like to call it: Project Mommy-Weight-Be-Gone! For some reason, Summer does not motivate me to exercise but Fall does. Go figure, maybe its the leaves or the crazy amount of coffee I have been consuming lately.

So, since I HATE running.....except when I run with the hubby that is, I have chosen a new course of action: exercise dvd! A dancing one to be exact. While I have no rhythm and no co-ordination to be found (trust me, I've looked), I think it would be the most fun. Bonus: when I get the moves memorized, I can play my own music and do it without looking at an instructor that's in amazing shape. You would think that seeing someone doing the same moves and being slim would get me excited about exercise, but, nope, it just makes me hate them and their perkiness. (Cold, honest truth there). Plus, I can do an exercise dvd in the comfort of my own home and have yummy candles burning or the window open for fresh air. Finally, I can do the dvd in the 2 hour window that I have when both babies are napping. (Ideally, with some time to spare for attacking my to-do list which is to say laundry ha ha).

Off we go today to the trusty Wally-World (after a 2 hour detour to pick up-hopefully- my lost camera at the apple picking farm) and tomorrow is Day 1 of Baby-Weight-Be-Gone! Wish me luck!

Oh, sooo side note but speaking of projects: Today is also Day 1 of Potty Training for my 2 year old! So far, he has earned plenty of M&M's as I am not above bribery to get my stubborn (yet lovable) toddler to use the potty.

Here is to dancing, potties and my 2nd cup of coffee!
